I am probably going to go with the one from AM cause it's costs less and you get free tunes for life. If I really want a kick arse tune I will probably buy one from Justin

Well sounds like a plan, but you should really send the tuner to Justin, his tunes are about the best you're going to get.

I probably will get a tune from him but after I get my next mod: 1.8 roller rockers I figure he will be able to optimize that set up far better than an AM canned tune

1.8? I take it you meant 1.7s. Well unless you're upgrading everything else, 1.7 rockers alone won't do much of jack and will require next to no tuning.

No I mean the harland sharpe 1.8 roller rockers I don't plan on doing a cam or valve work on this motor so these will still clear the stock valve covers

on a v8 maybe but I have heard that these ones will give me about 10hp at the wheels I don't know if a tune will turn that into more but since it has to do with valve lift I think it might. more air will be able to get into the cylinders so having more fuel only makes sense

ah! well once you get 'em hope they give ya a good gain.

THe valves will only be open a little wider but you have to remember that air is very viscous even at low rpms so every little bit helps

edit: and the rollers friction reduction will help a bit
