Powder94's Build Thread. Update: 7/22/11
« on: May 21, 2009, 05:54:43 PM »
Well I am bored out of my mind so I figured I would show you guys the transformation my car has made over the years.

I have had the car for a little over three years now. This is what she looked like when I got her, the paint is faded, there are dents and scratches in the paint, and many other problems.

My first mod was the BBK off road H-pipe and Flowmaster American Thunder catback

Then came my CAI both of which I don't have pics of

Next it was time for a new paint job, and since I couldn't afford no $5,000 paint job me and my dad did it ourselves for around $300

We originally only planed on doing the top half in primer filler but we ended up doing the whole car

I'll have the rest up later but let me know what you guys think so far

Ok where was I.......

The car has a few good coats of primer filler now and it was time to prep it for base

Me priming the bumper

All ready for base

Everything else getting ready to be based in our makeshift paint booth (a big tent my dad brought home from work) :icon_biggrin:

Had to move them all to the garage so we could pull the car in

At this point I was sooo pumped! Because I got to put the car back together the next day :headbang:

Next day as soon as everything was together I went out in front of my house and took some pics

I was amazed at how well it turned out

In the end it took us close to 3 months

And it cost us $300 :occasion14:

Keep in mind the U/D pullies will suck some of the PSI out of the S/C.

Hey, if you install them, can I buy your stock crank?

Dang, I never had the stock crank pulley for mine, and it's a pain finding a new one.

It looked good even though it was a 4X4
