Congratulations to "97v6stanger" for winning August SOTM!
A little over a year ago i bought this car from my parents for $2,500 which is what they paid for it so it wasn't just getting handed to me. Its a 97' v6 5-speed with the beautiful autumn orange paint job, which i have only seen one around here on the road just this last Saturday at a mustang show. But ever since i got this car i have been determined to show that even though v6s are ignored they can still hang around with the v8s. even though this CAI is all i have done to it i plan to have a lot more done now since I'm out of school.
Cosmetics-35% tint front 2 windows
20% tint back 3
Self painted tail lights (with actual tail light paint)
Engine-BBK CAI
Future mods (in order)-Screamin Deamon Coil Pack With better performance spark plugs
56mm throttle body
SCT 4-bank tuner
Mac Ceramic Long tube headers, high flow cats, H pipe, Mac Mufflers
Black 17" FR500 rims (17x9 front 17x10.5 back)
End of year with income tax ford 8.8 rear end with 3.73 gears, upgraded axles, better posi read end
Suspension Kit (most likely Eibach)
Better Heads, upper and lower intake, 4.3l stroker kit
Adapter to fit newer superchargers on older mustangs due to single port, then kenne bell supercharger. (or possible single turbo)
My future plans is to get this running as a track car and a drag car. i know different suspension help with different things, why I'm searching for something in the middle. But some of these things might be mixed around depending if i can get my engine bore for cheaper due to "sources" and get my 4.3l stroker kit from ssm.
