Just bought a Remington 597 .22LR with a 3-9 X 32 scope. Only paid $171.00 for it! Can't wait til it gets here!

I own a older mossberg rifle, it's a .308. Which I have to get back from my dad since he barrowed it last hunting season.

Does it have a good kick to it? I'm thinking of getting a Remington 700 Tactical .308

It has a little bit of a kick. Nothing like a 300 win mag or 7mm. A 12 guage has more kick to it than the .308
