My new big boy toy!!

It's a Springfield Armory XDm chambered in a .45 ACP with 4.5 inch barrel  ;D. Picked it up at our local gun show this weekend! This bad boy feels nice and handles awesomely while shooting it! Now I have to get some night sights for it and a holster, because the one that came with it is just eh.

Oh and for personal protection ammo I got a pack of 230 GR. Winchester Ranger T +P's.

not my photo but you get the point!


Federal Hydra Shok's, HST's and black talons don't have nothing on these rounds in all the tests I've seen.

Ah man that's awesome. I was thinking of getting an XD9. The ballistics on those personal defense rounds is ridiculous!

you should get one! You won't be disappointed! Oh and if you get one NEW between now and Nov 30th Springfield is doing a rebate for 3 free mags and a mag holster!!!!

i suppose so. looks like they just call for the following:

    A copy of the completed redemption form. All sections must be filled in correctly to complete your order.
    A copy of the original dated sales receipt with store name.
    All receipts must be received by December 31, 2011.

So today I finally got my new holster! Its a Blackhawk CQC Serpa. This thing is pretty nice, MUCH BETTER than the holster that came with the gun!

Just added a little zing to the handgun. I ended up filling in some of the engraved text on the slide with some enamel paint. check it out...
